Taylor’s nylon string 314ce-N is a guitar designed for the stage, and will appeal to steel string players looking to add the texture of a classical guitar to their tone mix.
The 314ce-N features a cut-away Grand Auditorium sized body of solid Sapele and Sitka spruce, with fairly traditional 5 fan bracing pattern. Ebony bridge with traditional tie-block, under-saddle ES system pickup, gloss top finish and satin back and sides. The neck is built with a 25.5” scale, radiussed fingerboard, and a narrower 1-7/8” nutwidth, so as to feel more familiar to steel string players.
The guitar is very comfortable to play, and sounds exceptional plugged in. Unplugged, the 314ce has an intimate and warm mellow voice.
