Hello, potential buyers. This instrument was hand crafted to resemble and simulate the specs of a 1960 Stratocaster with a small headstock 2 piece slab board neck with rosewood fretboard, and 2 piece Alder body finished in 3 tone burst. The neck is finished to a high gloss with traditional instrument lacquer, and slightly tinted to simulate the subtle amber of vintage necks. The pickups are hand wound to vintage spec, and nail that jangly strat sound of the early 60s. They're perfectly balanced and all read right at the 6k mark. The middle pickup is reverse wound and inversely magenetized to have humbucking capabilities when activated with the bridge and neck pickup. Pots are 300k linear taper with an orange drop cap for tone controls.Switch is a traditional crl 3 way as they were in 1960, however it is very easy to set it to positions 2 and 4.The neck for this instrument is a Fender licensed Allparts neck and is of impeccable quality. It has 21 modern sized frets and is radiused to 10". Nut width is 1-5/8" with a curved bottom cow bone nut. Tuners are authentic kluson 6-in-line with vintage style 11/32" tuner bushings. The truss rod is single action and adjusts at the heel. A truss rod access notch has been filed into the pickguard as is tradition for instruments of this era. Do note, that, unlike vintage fender necks, the truss rod adjustment nut is actually lower on the neck and therefore cannot under any circumstance be adjusted without removing the neck. This is just standard placement for modern vintage reproductions of this elder truss rod style.Even the string tree on this thing is authentic to a 1960 strat - it's the standard bent butterfly string tree with a nylon spacer, which looks identical to the one on my original 1965 Jazzmaster. The tremolo is also allparts and is very authentic. It has a big solid steel block for improved sustain and tone, and stays in tune very well for a 6 screw non locking tremolo. The action of depressing the tremolo arm is also very natural and smooth. All questions and inquiries are welcome. A video demo of various guitar tones with this instrument will be provided upon request.Shipping costs are only an estimate. Any spare shipping funds will be refunded after the guitar is shipped out. On request, a tweed hard case can be added to the order for an additional $50 as well as an extra few days handling time to get the case ordered and sent back out with the guitar in it.
